Dear Connie and Wayne, We will have come full circle in another few days.I is still on my mind the passing of Bobby. I have notheing but great memories of Bobby Wayne and you Connie, both in the hospital and your home. I know he is looking down on us all and is happy with what we have done this past year. He is very happy to still be thought of. I tell him I won't forget his personality and his smile. Dear friends thank you for your friendship.

Dear Connie and Wayne,
   I was truly saddened to hear that Bobby died, my thoughts and prayers are with you both.  I was able to attend his service by video here in Big Bear, at times memories brought a smile to my face and other times, tears.  Bobby was blessed to have you and Wayne for parents, giving him love, support, and a life as normal as possible and you were blessed to have Bobby.  May his memories keep him close to your heart and may you be filled with peace knowing that Bobby is healed and you will see him again.

Dear Wayne and Connie, At a time in my life when I needed some extra income I applied at Professional Pediatrics Home Care. I think The Man upstairs might have recognized I was a little out of my comfort zone. So what did he do, he paired me up with one of P/SL DSs most Special kids. When I saw the name as my first client, I thoght no it couldn't be the same Bobby I know from P/SL. Well it was and boy was I relieved. Knowing Bobby and you Connie and Wayne was half the battle. What was a job on most Saturdays for a couple of years turned into to a pleasurable way to spend most Saturdays, thanks to you 3, your friendship. It made it very easy to go to work on Saturdays. Thank you for the Privelage of me being able to care for Bobby and to consider alll three of you as friends. God Bless you and your family. Terry

Connie and Wayne, You both are in my prayers during this most difficult time.  Bobby truly was an angel, he was special and it was a blessing to have known him.You and Wayne did such an amazing job of providing Bobby with a full and joyful life.  He truly loved and appreicated every moment and I see him now running through the autumn leaves and laughing.  He always got such a kick out of that when he drove the wheelchair, now he can run and play and roll in those leaves if he wants to.  Sending you both lots of love. I am so so sorry!!! Grandma Moonie I wish I could take your pain away from you. You and Wayne did such a wonderful job and gave Bobbie such a great life...I love the pics :)

At Christmas this year, we had a discussion regarding angels and if we'd ever met one. I immediately, without hesitation, shared my experience with an angel, Bobby Smith. When I was a very young girl, I read, "Angel Unaware" by Dale Evans. It moved me so, and I hoped that some day, I would meet an angel. That day happened when God honored me by allowing me to teach Bobby Smith. Over the years we were together, I was blessed countless times by this angel's presence in my life! It was never easy. The suctioning, feeding tubes, communication devices, and hundreds of attempts to help Bobby communicate, think, and grow taught me patience and most of all, gratitude for life, because BOBBY LOVED LIFE! His smile said it all! Thank you, Father. I can not tell you how sad I am to know that I will never see him again in this life. My heart grieves for two of the finest parents I have ever met! Their lives were dedicated to Bobby. I pray for their souls to be healed, knowing that we ALL shall meet again. Bobby was...an angel unaware...
