On August 13, 2016, Carol (Palmer) Campbell, 78, of Lakewood, CO, peacefully passed away in the gentle embrace of hospice care and in the company of her children. Born December 1937 on the family ranch in Kansas, she went on in life to pursue long and rewarding careers in business, including Capitol Federal Savings, and later retiring in 2001 as the Exhibitions Director at The Denver Art Museum.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by Kathy and Sandy DeWeese (daughter), Scott Palmer (son), Sarah and Nicholas Palmer (grandchildren), Trey Orr and Al Westfall (brothers), and nieces and nephews in Kansas and Florida. Services will be held on September 1, 2016 at Olinger Crown Hill at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Carol suggested a donation to the foundation of your choice to benefit children.
