A lion’s strength, a heart of gold, witty, caring, sometimes stubborn and always forthright, Carol Jane Mosgrove lived a life of untethered, unending, unconditional love. Born and raised in Denver, Carol attended North High School, where she met her husband-to-be, Harry Mosgrove. They were married on June 11, 1966 and remained happily married for 52 years. She will be sorely missed and is survived by Harry; her two children – Leanne and Jeff; son-in-law Pete Lepetsos; daughter-in law Amy (Perelman) Mosgrove, sister-in-law Ginny McFarland; and 5 grandchildren – Katy, Alex, Tate, Chloe, Cole and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is also survived by a large stack of Elton John and Rod Stewart cd’s along with her antiquated Intellivision game console (loved shootin’ ”space dudes”), reminder notes to keep everyone on track, and peanut brittle stash. Carol spent the first 51 years of her marriage keeping track and taking care of everyone and everything, especially her kids and Harry. In the last year, Harry and the kids kindly returned the favor.
