Carole was/ is my sister. I’m having a hard time realizing we can’t chat once in a while.  We always laughed. When we were kids, Carole, a teen, me not quite there yet, had movie magazines. It was so fun to look at all the cute guys and listen to her 45 records. To this day, given the choice, I would love to just watch movies and listen to music all day and half the night. Carole was my ticket to go work in Jackson Hole when I was 14. Oh my, what fun. Her reputation & my other sister’s were so good that the drill sargent woman boss hired me. I love you Carole. Thank you for being my sister.  💞 We’ll chat again one day.

The first time I spoke to her on the phone before I met her. Derek and I were at North in Cherry Creek at the end of a Sunday Funday. Carole called Derek and he answered her call and spoke with her for a few seconds. Then I asked to speak with her. Derek hesitated for a second then told her I wanted to talk to her. He handed me the phone. I introduced myself. She was so sweet. At the end of the call I told her, I’ve fallen in love with your son. She giggled a little bit and said, “I can see that, he’s a good guy.”

He is, indeed. I will love and cherish him, all the days of my life.
