Caroline E. Martin of Wheat Ridge, CO entered into rest on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the age of 95. She was born July 15, 1924 in Boulder, CO to Lloyd and Carrie Hodgson. Caroline graduated from Boulder High School where she met her soul mate Joe Martin. They were married in 1942 and lived in Boulder until 1946 when opportunities brought them to the Denver area. They shared an amazing 73 years of marriage together.
She was a devoted housewife, mother and loved her grandchildren so much. Caroline was a member of Unity Chapter #97 Eastern Star, Passed President of Wheat Ridge Women's Club and belonged to U Make It craft group and several local bridge groups. She and Joe had a love for the mountains especially Grand County where they spent over 60 years at there beloved summer cabin. They also enjoyed taking many wonderful trips with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Martin, Brother Chester (Helen) Hodgson, Sister Lucille Coughlin (Glen), Brother Melvin (Yvonne). Survivors include daughter Karen (Martin) Parker, Son-in-law Mark Parker, Granddaughter Kelsie Parker, Grandson Blake Parker and many special Nieces and Nephews.
Thank you to all of her family and wonderful friends over the years for being a part of her life and making it so wonderful. She touched so many lives and God blessed all of us with her 95 years here on earth. She will be missed more than words can express, however we are all so happy that she is in heaven with God and the love of her life.
