Cathleen Christine Costillo

Ms. Cathleen Christine Costillo passed away on Monday, December 12th, 2016, at the age of 62. She was born on October 26th, 1954, in Denver.

Cathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a role model to her children, and gave her time and energy unconditionally to her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her strength and courage to overcome difficult times; and while she took her life, we know she is at rest.

She is survived by her children Richard Vallejos, Celina Abe, and Maria Rodriguez; her grandchildren Devine, Ava (Mitzy), Aniyah, Lily, Evanny, Gabby, Julian, Richard, Hope, Avenicio, Isaiah, and Cathelena; her sister, Cecilia Murillo; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was proceeded in death by her brother Paul Alva, and her parents Ottie Casias and Alberto Costillo.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, The Pavilion of Reflection, 7777 W 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Pastor Bernard Holmes will officiate and memorial to be given by Maria Rodriguez and Daniel Abe, followed by an open mic of celebration and sharing. Friends and family are invited to the post service celebration luncheon at 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the VFW on 4747 W. Colfax Avenue, 80204.
