

She was born to Andrillita Gonzales Medina and Eduvigen Medina and grew up surrounded by her siblings, all of whom preceded her in death: Perl Kirby †, Tim Medina †, Benita Graving †, Rose Harris †, Eddie Medina Jr. †, and Urban Medina †.
On February 21, 1953, Connie married the love of her life, Felix Olguin Jr., in Brighton, Colorado. Together they shared a beautiful life and a devoted marriage that lasted 70 years and 11 months, built on love, commitment, and family, grounded in faith.
Connie was a proud and loving mother to her children: Al Olguin (Debbie Olguin), Yovonne Marlene Landoll, Grindaline Salido (Ebenzer Salido), and Allen Jay Olguin.
She was also a cherished grandmother to Tristan Olguin, Dannie Morris (Sterling), Jeremy Reid †, Angelo Olguin, Mia Davis (Ken), Natanael Salido †, Valerie Romero, Noe Salido (Sarah), Derrick Alarid †, Allenjay Alarid, and Dayna Alarid.
She was blessed with many great-grandchildren: Isaac Davis, Gabriel Davis, Jona Davis, Elias Davis, Aldeline Davis, Valor Olguin, Jacqueline Olguin, Simon Olguin, Ethan Morris, Zoe Salido, Bailey Salido, Jaxon Salido, Julian Alcala, Sophia Alcala, Jiovanni Alcala, Olivia Alcala, Derrick Alarid Jr., Daniela Alarid, Alina Alarid, Viviana Alarid, Allenjay Alarid Jr., Aubrey Alarid, and Jaylee Alarid.
She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Connie had a special love for fashion and took great pride in always being beautifully put together. She was known for dressing to the tee, perfectly coordinating her hats, shoes, and jewelry, and even matching her outfits with her husband’s. She also cherished time spent with family and friends, always looking forward to gatherings and the joy of being surrounded by loved ones.
Connie and her husband faithfully attended church for many years, and when they were no longer physically able, they continued to worship together at home, remaining devoted in their faith until the very end.
Connie will be remembered for her strength, unwavering love, and deep faith in the Lord. She found comfort in God’s promises and lived her life with grace, kindness, and devotion to her family.
While our hearts are heavy, we take peace in knowing she has been called home to be with the Lord and is now resting in His eternal embrace. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
