Darren Michael Pool

Darren worked his way up into the restaurants , from 15 years old as a dishwasher, to working in many restaurants getting more and more experience as a prep cook, cook, sous chef , chef, to executive chef. He was respected and loved for his passion for cooking to give everyone a wonderful meal. Some of the restaurants he worked at were, Taco house, May D&F restaurant, Garcias, Jose O'sheas, Marriot, Holiday Inn,Simms landing, Chart house, Marina landing,The Draft sports grill, Foothills & Meadows Golf course restaurant. Darren had a heart of Gold, he would take less fortunate people of the street and give them a job in the kitchen. He has impacted many lives, and loved to educate people.

When Darren was asked , what was greatest achievement in life he said,“The days my 2 boys were born, David & Matthew." He loved to take them on adventures and ride bikes, hike, and take them to the family cabin.

His hobbies , were fixing cars, especially Trans Ams & firebirds , concerts, and in his younger years he loved to ride bikes, hike, ski, and loved gardening. He had a green thumb also.

Darren was the 3rd addition to the Pool family line up joining his brother David E Pool, and Father James E Pool.

He will always be remembered & never forgotten.
