

With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Delores Maxine Low, on December 11, 2025 at the proud age of 88. Born on March 21, 1937 in Grand Island, NE, she devoted her life to her family and brought Love, Joy and Happiness to all that knew her.
Dee attended West High School and developed a whirl-wind romance with the man of her dreams John “Jack” Low. She went on to become a proud stay at home mom to her two children, Vicky and Rick. She then established a career in the school cafeteria at Thomas Jefferson High School where she spent many years serving meals to children with kindness and a welcoming smile. Later in life, beside her husband and son she contributed by serving as a secretary and bookkeeper for John Low, LPD.
She is survived by her children, Vicky Low and Rick Low (Patty), by her grandchildren, Dirk Dotson (Lauren), Danielle Dotson, Britnee Lapaseotes (George), Courtnee Crispe (Cody) and great-grandchildren Colt, Caden, Luke and Blake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Bessie Kraber, her husband John “Jack” Low and her sister, Joann O’Brien.
She will be remembered for her boundless love, her warm spirit and fierce devotion to her family. Though, she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. A service in her memory will be held to honor her life and the love she shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services to honor Dee will be held on Monday December 22, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Olinger at Crown Hill in the Pavilion of Reflection followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and sister. The family invites you to a reception with light appetizers at 3:30 p.m. at Olinger at Crown Hill.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the “Wounded Warrior Project”.
