April 14, 1917 - August 13, 2010. Passed away after suffering complications from pneumonia. She was a Denver native and graduated from West High School in 1936. Survived by daughter Marjorie (Dorman) Sallee, Overland
Park, Kansas and daughter Virginia (James) O'Neill of Franktown, Colorado; son-in-law Merle Hofer, Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Roberta Hofer, her parents, two sisters and three brothers. Dorothy was employed by United Garment in Denver after graduating high school. She later worked for Altman's Apparel Shop and retired at the age of 72 from Gart Brothers Sports Castle in Denver. She always enjoyed her home, family and beloved pets. In 2003, she moved to a patio home at Shalom Park in Aurora and subsequently to the nursing home at that location in 2007. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. At her request there will be no
