Buck was a graduate of Weldona High School, served in the US Army, was a lifetime member of the Westminster Elks Lodge, worked at Western Electric then Mountain Bell and retired from AT&T.
In April 1956 he married Marilyn Gerstner and together they raised four children, Lynette, Annette, Nanette, and Guy.
In 1995 he married Marion “Shorty” Morris.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in law Aloysius and Matilda Gerstner, his beloved wife of 32 years, Marilyn, his brothers Bob and John, five sister-in-laws, a brother-in-law, two son-in laws, and three nieces. He is survived by his wife Shorty, daughters Lynette (Paul Hallowell) Fleming, Annette Fraass, Nanette (Jim Harrington) Garrett, son Guy (LaDonna) Garrett, step-daughter Sandi (Jim Brandenberg), thirteen grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren with one on the way and numerous family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 8, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetary. Unfortunately, due to current restrictions, the service will be limited to immediate family.
