On December 27th 2020 we lost an amazing person, Dwight Len Eckert, he passed away at 68 years young. He was married to Terry Eckert for 41 years and from that marriage he gained two beautiful and amazing daughters Dawn and Shannon. He had seven beautiful grandchildren: Coral, Brandon, Tawnya, LuRaya, Michael, Krystal, and Dwight. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Lily, Oliver, Exalia, Owen, and Zelda. Also left behind was a brother-in-law, Mike Tarply as well as many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Joyce and his sister, Nora Kay.
Dwight was such an amazing and intelligent person with a heart made of gold. He touched the lives of many people in countless ways. It was well know amongst his family and friends that anytime you would ask him how he was doing, he'd reply " oh, I'm just livin’ the dream." And he really was living his dream. He also inspired others to do the same without them even realizing it. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on with all of us forever in our hearts, and the hearts of the people who's lives he impacted.
