

He was born March 14th, 1953 in Sterling, CO. Resided in Arvada, CO. Son of the late Dolores Swedlund and late Edward Connely. Devoted Husband and Father –Survived by his wife of 46 years Millanee Love Connely. Children Emily (Daughter) and Aaron Rettich (Son-In law), Brian (Son) and Amanda Connely (Daughter In-Law), Lauren (Daughter) and John Lacy (Son In-Law). Grandchildren Ean Rettich (19), Noel Connely (17), Warner Rettich (14), Hayden Connely (13), Mason Connely (10), Charlotte Lacy (4), Miles Lacy (1). Sisters Cheri Cattoor, and Cathy Swedlund, and many nieces and nephews.
Attended Public School in Arvada, CO. Graduated from Arvada West High School in 1971. Married to Millanee Love on August 18th, 1973 in Buffalo Creek, CO. Graduated from Western State, Gunnison, CO. in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business. Store manager of Good Year Auto Tire and Service, President and owner of Rangeview Tire and Auto Service which he opened with his Father In-Law Charles M. Love in 1988 where he raised and honored the American Flag daily.
For many years was a regular donor of blood and plasma, and at the end of life was an organ donor. Fostered the repair and donation of over 400 cars in 16 years to Family Tree. He had a degree of empathy for Family Tree as he and his 2 sisters were raised by their single mother who worked 3 jobs to support their lives. Jefferson Unitarian Church member and committed participant of his Men’s Group.
Bro. Connely was a Life Member and past Master of Highlands Lodge #86 in Denver, as well as a Denver Consistory Life Member and past Wise Master. He was initiated November 1995; invested with KCCH October 2001; and corinated a 33° August 2007. Also, Wise Master Rocky Mountain Chapter of Rose Croix 2008. He was a recipient of the DeMolay “Legion of Honor”, which is the highest honor that DeMolay International confers.
Often recited “It is well with my soul”, and The Irish Blessing.
Avid lover of Camping, Fishing, Skiing, Mile High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway, Nascar, Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies, and Nuggets, always with his loved ones in tow. Loved Rock and Roll and concerts at Red Rocks.
