Born December 19, 1926 she was the only child of the late William Hoyt and Lona Mae McCord. Betty is preceded in death only forty-one days ago by her loving husband of 69 years, Robert. They are together again, worshipping the Lord.
Beloved mother of Patty (Bob) Gustavson, Dan (Linda) Bradley and Steve Bradley. Grandma of Jeffrey (Carrie) Kaylor, Bethany (Mike) Braun, Matthew (Jennifer) Kaylor, Eric (Zanette) Bradley and Wendy (TJ) Croissant.
Great-Grandma of Jourdon, Andrew, Lucas, Hunter, Peter, Ryan, Lauren, Mark and Baby B. due in March.
She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family. Her specialty was homemade apple pie and she always had a fresh batch of cookies in the cookie jar. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing card games. She also was a beautiful artist in the form of embroidery and other needlework and tole painting. A sports fan, she enjoyed attending games, especially the ones her sons and grandsons played in and watching football and baseball on TV.
Betty enjoyed people and with ease could carry on a conversation with even total strangers – which made her an outstanding sales person at Joslins department store where she enjoyed working for several years after becoming an empty-nester. After retirement she and her husband traveled the states in their Airstream trailer and also visited many parts of the world which brought them great delight and many memories with friends and family.

Betty was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma…and so much more. We loved her beyond measure and will miss her always.
