Elizabeth C. Fisher, age 93, passed away March 21, 2015 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was born May 11, 1921 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth was a nurse in the Navy during WWII and following that had a career as a registered nurse. Since 1981 Liz lived in Grand Junction, Colorado. During retirement she excelled in swimming in the Western Slope Senior Games and served as a volunteer docent at numerous museums in Grand Junction. Elizabeth is survived by her children: Barbara, Karen, Bill, Jim, Mary Ann, and Susan; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
