Erik was raised and lived most of his life in Arvada, Colorado. He was a graduate of Arvada High School and University of Colorado with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked many years for IBM as a project manager.
Erik is survived by his wife Susan, son Evan, sister Kathy, brother-in-law Greg, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vic and Merrillee and his brother Steve.
A memorial service for Erik will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, followed by a reception from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
