Evelyn Cecilia Trujillo

Evelyn C. Trujillo, 71, passed away on January 28, 2021 in her home in Lakewood, Colorado with her husband, son and sisterby her side. She was born on August 1,1949 to Jose C. Lopez and Stella Marquez (Zamora) in Pueblo, Colorado. She was the third child of four children.

Evelyn graduated from Central High in Pueblo. While in high school she met and married the love of her life, Nick Trujillo of 55 years. While living in Pueblo they had their first son Nick "Nicky" Trujillo Jr. A few years later they moved to Denver, Colorado where they had their second son Eloy Trujillo.

She worked small jobs until she found her career in banking where she was very successful and was loved by many customers and co-workers. Evelyn enjoyed Bunco, shopping, game night, but the most important thing was family and family time.

Evelyn had a compassionate heart and was always willing to help anyone. She had a smile that no one could ever forget. She was always willing to lend a listening ear and never judge you.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Nick, son Eloy, Sister Bernice (Gerald), numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She preceded in death by her parents, son Nicky, sister Pricilla Mondragon, brother in law Leo F. Mondragon and brother Alfred Lopez.

Evelyn was an angel here on earth and now she has her wings to enter the golden gates of heaven. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
