Franklin Louis Dunst

Frank passed away from natural causes, peacefully, in Denver, CO. He was able to spend considerable time with his 4 children over the past 2 ½ years, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Frank grew up in the Washington Park area on South Pearl Street. He lived with his parents, Anthony and Olga Dunst and had 6 siblings: Margaret, Elizabeth, Rosemary, Charles, Alfred and Jeanette. He attended South High School in Denver, CO. After high school, Frank went to work at the family business, The C.F. Hoeckel Company, where he worked for 41 years. After leaving Hoeckel’s, he went to work at Land Title Guarantee Company, where he worked for another 30 years. He finally retired in March of 2022, at the age of 88.

One of Frank’s favorite time each year was when he hosted his annual July 4th party for his entire family; this included anyone who was part of the family no matter who they were.

Frank married Delores Orner in 1952. Together they had 5 children. He is survived by his children: Debbie Blesh, Jim Dunst, Ron (Wendy) Dunst and Patti Little. Grandchildren: Jesse Woods, Autumn Blesh, Jason White, Mercedes White, Austin Dunst, Jennifer Dunst, Angi Stokke, Shawna Mateer, Christina Leon, AJ Dunst, Amanda Dumbleton. Great grandchildren: Madelin, Sam, Dylan, Aria, Logan, Kylee, Myles, Owen, Alyssa, Bryson, Aubrey, Connor, Jordyn, Izabelle, Jaelynn, Lyliana, Azelynn. Great-great grandchildren: Archer, Clay, Averi, Miasha.

He is preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings and his daughter, Sandra Seibel.
