George was the best brother anyone could ask for. Always smiling, happy and his blue eyes were just like his dad's. His personality was something else and everyone loved George. He will truly be missed and my heart goes out to you, Martha. You were "soul-mates" and that's hard to find in a relationship. You're in my thoughts and prayers and remember George is at peace in God's Garden.

Uncle George -- he was the fun one. When I was younger, he joked around with all of nieces and nephews. He would throw us around Grandma's pool, tickle us until we almost couldn't breathe anymore, let us climb all over him on the living room floor, always had a smile and could make us laugh with his many silly faces. That's the uncle I want to be.

As I got older, I saw him and Aunt Martha less often. I regret that. But when you know someone cares about you, even if you don't see them often, they stick with you. I even have his bright blue eyes to remind me of that. He was a great man and I'll miss him.

I'll be thinking about you and praying for you Aunt Martha!

What an amazing smile George always had and a laugh to match it! He was always willing to lend a hand or just sit and listen whatever was needed. George touched so many lives and I am one of those.  My prayers go to Martha, you are surrounded with love and unending friendship so lean on us! George is whole again and making everyone laugh in heaven!

George always had a smile on his face no matter how hard a day he was having at work.  I enjoyed sitting with him and Martha at The Bailey Co annual banquet and getting to know both of them outside of work.  He and Martha visited me when I was in the hospital following hip surgery.  I appreciated that act of kindness so much.  He was such a unique person --- so devoted to Martha -- so dedicated to The Bailey Company.  I miss him.

For my high school graduation the only thing I wanted was to go see my Aunt Martha & Uncle George. So for Christmas the following year my parents sent my out to Colorado. As a recent high school grad, it was my first experience as an "independent" adult. Uncle George gave me the keys to his truck and said, "Have fun seeing the town." I have always remembered how he placed so much trust in me. I had a wonderful time in Colorado skiing and spending time with my Uncle George & Aunt Martha. To this day, it is one of my fondest memories. You will be missed Uncle George!

I knew George for nearly 30 years and worked with him for more than 20.  George was a my friend,  a great colleague, and a gifted HVAC technician. My family and I will miss him and send our prayers and support to Martha, his family, and friends.  Next time I'm up at Ameristar or The Lodge,  I'll spin the wheels and play some cards a time or two in his memory.

George always had a smile on his face, even when times were hard, and I always enjoyed his spirit.

He will be missed more than words can express, but I'm glad to have known him!

George will be missed.  He was truly a GREAT person.

George's nieces and nephews who are children of his sister, Carol, always considered Uncle George to be someone very special.  That is because he viewed the children as special.  He was kind to them and gave them special attention. But most of all, Uncle George had a happy personality which made him fun.  I think the adults that knew George also saw in him and appreciated those same qualities and more.  We pray that God will comfort Martha now and sustain her through her sorrow over her great loss.
