Georgia Helen Clark was born 17 Sept 1930 in Denver, Colorado. She was the daughter of George Owen Muse and Charlotte Virginia Hart. As a child she and her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico for a few years prior to World War II. After 7 Dec 1941, her father joined the US Army and was stationed in the Pacific. She was a loving mother to Gil’s son, Gary, spending countless hours together. Later, Gil and Georgia adopted a baby girl, Gail Charlotte Clark.
In addition to being a great mother, Georgia was a great employee and ended her working career as the director of accounts payable for Santa Fe, International, an oil exploration corporation. After retiring, she returned to Elyria, living only two blocks from her childhood home, so that she could care for her aging mother and her brother.
Georgia passed away on 12 May 2016 and will be interred at Crown Hill Cemetery. She is survived by her brother, Raymond Frederick Muse of Elyria, her son Gary W. Clark of Lacey, Washington and her daughter, Gail C. Clark of Bailey, Colorado, and by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
