Gloria Ribota Solis, 78, of Denver Colorado, passed early afternoon November 14, 2023, from an exhausted fight with pneumonia exasperated by complications from Covid and advancement of dementia. She passed as she rested in her bedroom.
Born in Juarez Mexico on December 16, 1944, to Guerrero Ribota and Petra Neria,
The eldest daughter of a family of nine, she took on a role to help in raising and caring for her siblings alongside her mother Petra Neria Ribota. Spending time with her aunts, they saw a free-spirited spark in their niece and created many memories. She loved her aunts and grandmother immensely. And she would indulge us in stories of the many adventures she had as a child and the many hearts she broke.
She dedicated herself to her home and her children. Making sure she created a welcoming environment for her family and friends. Hosting gatherings where family could gather and celebrate. She would selflessly go out of her way to help.
Her infectious positive energy was felt by all who met her. Making numerous friends and a small circle of chosen family.
We were very fortunate to have been part of her story and her journey.
Please join us in celebrating her life, giving a proper send-off to reunite with loved ones passed.
Gloria is survived by her children, eldest Carlos Solis, second born Mario A Solis, first daughter Norma Solis and the youngest Jimmy Solis.
She loved her grandchildren, eldest Carlos Solis Jr, second born Enrique Solis, third born Diego Solis and youngest granddaughter Isabella Solis. She was excited to become a grandmother and every second she could spend with them was a blessing to her.
