

from East High School in 1934 and Colorado State College of Education (University of Northern Colorado today) in 1938 with a major in Music. She taught in a small two teacher school house in Nunn CO following graduation. Helen married Donald Christopher Bingham in 1940 and had three children, Don, Mary and Dale and lived in Loveland CO where Don worked as an Engineer on the Big Thompson Water Project for the US Bureau of Reclamation. Music and her family were her life; she
promoted her family band by playing for local benevolent organizations like Eastern Star and participated in Loveland Parades.
She appeared with her family on Ted Mack Amateur hour in 1954, advancing to the final round but losing to a one-legged US Army Veteran tap dancer. She and her family moved to Lakewood in 1957, where she and her three children played a trumpet quartet for a Garden of the Gods Easter sunrise service. She played organ at the Denver Paramount Theater and various Pizza Parlors in Denver and Phoenix as well. Helen kept entertaining friends and family with organ concerts throughout her life.
She loved attending Organ Club meetings and also thoroughly enjoyed her Camper Club outings and friends. She is survived by her brother Lewis F DeLong, sons Don Bingham and Dale Bingham and granddaughters Angela and Michelle Bingham. She is predeceased by her husband, Don, daughter Mary Bingham-Hinton and grandson Jeff Bingham. In lieu of flowers,

Visitation, Sunday from 5 to 7PM, service, Monday at 3PM, both at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary W 29th and Wadsworth. Committal to follow.
