Wife to Edwin Thomas Underwood for 59 years; mother to Deborah Underwood and Bruce (Melanie) Underwood; grandmother to Michael (Ashley) Thomas, Amber (Tyler) Birkeland, Nathan Underwood, and Megan (Zach) Fallon; and great-grandmother to Kali Thomas, Kayden Thomas, Aaliyah Birkeland, Trae Birkeland, and Alexia Birkeland.
Services will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, at 7777 W. 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, Irene's wish is to donate to the American Lung Association.
