Jackie Kelly Matthews, age 70, passed away May 2, 2015 in Denver, CO. Jackie was born July 3, 1944 in Oakland, CA where she grew up and graduated from high school. Jackie and her husband Russell moved to Colorado in 1992. Jackie worked for many years as a casino manager. She enjoyed running marathons and was very involved in Zumba. Jackie was a wonderful person and had many great friends throughout her life; she was always willing to help anyone. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years Russell; step daughter Danielle Smith; sisters Pat Poretti and Sharon Dresnick; brothers Tim Kelly and Harry Kelly and her three dogs: Niko, Dodge and Chief. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations are preferred to help sheltered animals.
