Sept 23, 2013. I just came across Jerry's name in the "Montanan" and was sorry to hear he has passed away. I knew him in college and we were both SAEs. I never saw him again after we graduated but certainly remember him. He was a great person and I knew he would be a success. I enjoyed looking at the pictures of his life and family.

I didn't know until today.  Jerry was a good buddy and fraternity brother. I certainly give my condolences .

Haven't had the priviledge of meeting his family, but I worked with Jerry at Coors Field for the past four years. Enjoyed working with him very much and will miss his smiling face.

To Dottie and family, my memories about Jerry are many.  I'll remember the guy with the big smile that was always looking to make a new friend, and was willing to talk about anything.  And liked to talk about anything!  A ride in the golf cart with Jerry was always a good trip, as the objective was to have a fun day. In a golf cart I learned that what was most important to Jerry was Dottie, family, and friends. It wasn't a real round of golf without the 19th hole, where laughing and friendly banter was the order for the group he was in.  I always wondered how he could have so many nice hats stashed in a fifthwheel trailer.   I remember that he always was finding a new beer for me to try, and how fun it was to talk baseball with him and sip a cool one!  My life is certainly better because Jerry was in it, and I'll never see a Rockies hat without thinking of him.  On days when the sun, sky, and breeze feel just perfect I'll know he's upstairs doing his magic for us.  And, just think about the things he'll be working on for the Rockies from his new home.  Rest in peace my friend, and we'll talk later.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and the family. We were all shocked by the news and sudden passing. We were looking forward our Palm Creek reunion. Many good memories. We hope you will consider a return visit. You remain in our hearts and prayers.

I'm very thankful to have met you and had some time to talk with Jerry at the 50th Reunion in Miles City.  I hadn't seen him since college days and was shocked and saddened by his passing.  My fraternity brother, neighbor and friend...he will be greatly missed.  Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family; we are so sorry for your loss.

Dear Dorothy, Dan, Dave, Denny, Sandy and families, please accept our deepest sympathies over the loss of Jerry.  He was a wonderful friend and teammate at CCHS.  I'm so happy I got to see and visit with him and Dorothy at the fiftieth class reunion.  He'll never be forgotten. May the LORD bless you and keep you.

We were shocked and so saddened to hear that Jerry had died.  We are good friends with Denny, and graduated in the same class.  Jerry was a little older, but very well-known and well-liked at Custer County High School.  Please accept our sympathy.

Dottie, there are no words to express our shock, our feelings, and our love for you  and your family.  We have enjoyed knowing you both and having our good times at Palm Creek, whether doing our glass work or Jerry's golf with the guys, our many 'happy hours', etc.  We will miss you immensely at Palm Creek.
