

Jerry Dean Fair passed from this life on April 18th 2021, he was 87 years old. He was born on February 24, 1934 in Ashland, Ohio to Lula Fair (nee Bumpus) and Harold Ralph Fair. He grew up in the heartland of America, surviving the Great Depression by working on the family farm. He had one brother James who preceded him in death.
In 1954 he joined the Air Force as a Fighter Pilot. After Pilot training in Bryan, Texas he went on to serve with distinction in the Air Force as a pilot of an F-100 and also the F-84. He eventually went into the Air Force Reserves and left the Air Force Reserves as a Major in 1986 which completed his term of military service. He then went on to join the Commemorative Air Force where he reached the rank of Colonel. He was also affiliated with Good Sam's where he met several friends, he was also in the Westminster Elks Club.
His first marriage was to Shirley Clark whom he wed in 1956 and they had 3 children.Their marriage ended in 1974 and several years later he married Jennalee Zimmerman. They enjoyed a happy married life until she passed from ALS in 2005. They frequently traveled across country enjoying the freedom to travel America with family and friends in their retirement. In 2009 he married Ramona Brunswick to whom he was married until his sudden passing. They were members of Tri-City Baptist Church.
Jerry attended Ohio State University. He worked for Bell Laboratories, Western Electric, and retired from AT&T. He maintained a passion for tinkering with all types of mechanical things including his Model T and other antique cars, Halloween décor and many other types of things with his family.
He is survived by his wife Ramona, three children, Carole Frei and her husband Don of Greeley, Colorado, Kathy Stenberg and her husband Kent of Warrenton, Missouri, Scott Fair and his wife Roxanne (nee Bickelhaupt) of Commerce City, Colorado, two stepdaughters Robin Latorra (nee Brunswick) and her husband Jerry of Westminster, Co, Rhonda Oehler (nee Brunswick) and her spouse Kim of Soldotna, Alaska, and a stepson Russ Brunswick of Morrison, Colorado. There are six grandchildren, Eric and his wife Karen, Traven, Amanda Gray and her husband Tyler, Irene Beals and her husband Jonathan, Zack Zimmerman and Jake Zimmerman and four great- grandchildren. He was greatly loved by numerous other loved ones and will be sadly missed.
His viewing will be on Monday April 26th at 1 pm followed by services in Olinger Crown Hill Chapel. Graveside Services will be immediately after.
