John Edward “Cavey” Rael, age 89, passed away December 26, 2013 in Denver, Colorado. He was born December 20, 1924 in Emerygape, New Mexico. He is survived by his children: Geri (Mike) Sanchez, Gabriel (Angie) Rael, Berdine Ordunez, Lucinda Lopez, Gina (Sean) Schott and Lulu (Randy) Vigil, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Flora Rael and former wife Jo Madrid and siblings: Dan Rael, Benny Rael, Rose Martinez, Pauline Dominguez, Barbara Garcia & Edmund Rael, as well as his children: Andrew F. Montoya, Joan Rael, and John E. Rael Jr. Visitation Thursday, January 2, 5-7 P.M. with Rosary at 7 P.M., funeral service Friday, January 3 at 9:00 A.M. all at Crown Hill Chapel of Peace. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
