Jon Michael Shrader

Jon was born November 1, 1963 in Denver, CO to Franklin D. Shrader and Jean Marie Long Shrader. He married Amanda "Mandy" Walterscheid on August 18, 2012 in Clovis, NM. Jon received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Colorado Christian College in 1986. He continued his education at the University of Health Sciences, the College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating with his Doctor of Osteopathy in 1991. After receiving his degree he served his family practice residency at the University of Kansas St. Francis Regional Medical Center from 1991 to 1994. He has been practicing in Clovis since 1999, and opened Clovis Family Healthcare in 2003. His patients were his passion. Jon loved telling jokes, he would always say "Laughter will do you good like medicine." He enjoyed traveling, cooking, golfing, and music.

Survivors include: his wife; Amanda "Mandy" Shrader of Clovis, NM, two sons; Nathan Shrader of Kansas City, KS and Logan Shrader of Show Low, AZ, daughter; Jessah Jenkins (Cody) of Odessa, MS, two step-children; Mason Tillman and Madeline Tillman of Clovis, NM, mother; Jean Shrader of Lakewood, CO, three brothers; Jerry Shrader of Tulsa, OK, Jeff Shrader (Jane) of Golden, CO, and Jason Shrader (Heidi) of Puyallup, WA, four sisters; Heather Sharp of Arvada, CO, Joy Christensen (Peter) of Littleton, CO, Jana Maes (Matt) of Arvada, CO, and Jenny Terada (Mike) of Denver, CO, three grandchildren; Gracelynn Shrader, Colten Jenkins, and Kinsley Jenkins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; Franklin D. Shrader.
