

Joseph Adducci, age 88, of Lakewood, passed away February 24, 2022 with his family by his side from complications due to dementia. Joe was born in March 1933 in Denver, CO to Angelo and Elizabeth (Lotito) Adducci. As a stand-out athlete, he was a talented baseball player in school. Both he and his wife Regina (Lowrey) attended Cathedral High School (four years apart). They were later introduced by friends, fell in love, soon married and celebrated forty-three years together prior to her death in November 2000. Joe always prioritized serving and loving his family and friends above all else.
Joe served in the army toward the end of the Korean War. After returning from Korea, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Regis College. He worked in the banking industry for several years then went on to obtain his CPA license in 1972. He maintained a successful CPA partnership with offices in Lakewood and Evergreen for over forty years, serving many small businesses and families in the Denver-Metro area.
He is survived by his four children: Christine (George) Maher, Pamela (Matthew) DeCarlo, Patricia Chaplin, Joseph (Shannon) Adducci; eight grandchildren; sisters Rose Volk, Mary Ann Keeley and Judy Anderson; cousin (like a sister) Barbara Durant; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lucille Severino.
Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1985 Miller St., Lakewood, CO, on Monday, March 7, 2022. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Catholic Rite of Committal will follow Mass at graveside, Crown Hill Cemetery, 7777 W 29th Ave, Lakewood, CO. All are invited to a reception to follow for lunch and sharing at Potenza Hall, 1900 W 38th Ave., Denver, CO.
