

She was born on April 3, 1962, in Denver Colorado. She passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, after a long battle with dementia. She was surrounded by her family during her final days of life. She is survived by her husband; Rick Suer, her children; Matt Suer (Lindsey Gary) , Jen Vonk (Joey), John Suer (Kelsea), Chelsea Haugum (Dillon), and Lainee Raffa (Tyler), her parents; Frank and Elsie Pomponio, her siblings; Susan Hartley (Todd), Frank Pomponio (Tanya), John Pomponio (Stephanie), Annie Pomponio, her grandchildren; Addie and Jacobie Vonk, Makaylee Haugum, Jackson Suer, Rylee and Zoey Suer, Jude Raffa and soon to be Kenzie Suer. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews; Bella, Beau and TJ Hartley, Jonny and Max Pomponio, Dax, Frankie and Vinnie Pomponio, and Rocco and Gia Cito.
Judy had a passion for helping adults with intellectual developmental disabilities. She worked for the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, a non-profit that was close to her heart because of her nephew Cameron Joe Hartley. She loved cycling, skiing, camping and hiking with her family and friends. She was devoted to her faith and was actively involved in the church. She loved looking forward to having Sunday dinners and cooking for her family. She always met everyone with a genuine smile and open heart. Throughout her life she found so much joy in caring for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a bright light to everyone she met.
One of her favorite sayings was, “I heart you!”
Her funeral services will be held on July 23, 2025, at Holy Family Church 4380 Utica St, Denver 80212. The Rosary Service will be at 9:20 AM, followed by the Mass at 10:00 AM. The reception will follow at the Sons of Italy 5925 West 32nd Ave, Wheat Ridge at 11:00 AM.
