It’s an overview of a woman who was very calm and mild mannered at all times, and had difficulty expressing her opinions. I mean with a bachelors' degree from CSU, what do you expect?
Julie Roach Mast literally handed the world to three people. She worked her ass off to make sure that they could go anywhere they wanted at anytime they wanted - and explore. One flew around the world. Another wasn’t home for 30 years, having a blast, exploring places, some of whom you’ve never even heard of.
Her deep true loves included: Regis, Lucy, the Brown Palace, Renie, Barry, Erica, Linda, the original Frontier, any white wine with a glass of ice, Hong Kong and live fish, first class nail polish, New York tuna cans, Jan Hitchcock and quite possibly William D. - I mean they were literally inseparable for over five decades. Probably nobody on earth has ever loved anyone more than he.
Julie had two 2 children, Scott and Tiffany who really are spectacular individuals. That’s impressive because it was iffy at times - when Tiffany announced her acting career at Thanksgiving and poor Scott was dragged home from Europe because he was being FORCED to go to school in Boulder.
She also had two grandchildren, Rose and Cole who have turned out exceptionally well, despite family influence. Rose knows she can always fall back on the bar skills she learned at Eaton Ct.
After Nikki, Zackary and Gizmo, Julie leaves behind her naughty dog Suki, who is upset because she will no longer have access to unlimited saltines.
It can be said with more confidence than ever - that there will never be another human being like her to ever walk the face of this earth.
And I wouldn’t want her to get angry about being too cheeky so we’ll end this by saying that the level that she will be missed cannot be written on paper.
Butchy says hi.
We love you more than the whole world put together Julie Roach Mast.
