

Kathie grew up in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming where she became the kind and generous person that she became. She graduated valedictorian of her high school class and following graduation, she attended college for 3 1/2 years. She married the love of her life Samuel E. Trujillo, Sr. in February 1965. She was a homemaker who raised two children. She had a passion for writing. She especially loved poetry and spent hours writing.
She was predeceased by her husband Samuel; parents, Dorothy (John) Prosser and Chester Bondy; sister, Judy Armstrong; parents in-law, Santitos (Joseph) Trujillo, John (Phyllis) Trujillo, Rebecca (Eloy) Torres, Louis (Annelore) Trujillo, and Eva (Manuel) Gonzales, and nieces and nephews Lucille Quintana, Frank Lopez Jr., Eloy Torres Jr., Patricia Trujillo, Richard Trujillo, Neal Cleary and Daniel Trujillo.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and doting grandmother. Surviving is her son Samuel (Beth) Trujillo, Jr.; her grandsons, Elisha and Ezekiel Trujillo; daughter Candilaria (Dale) Erickson; sisters, Mary Ellen (Ed) Trollinger; Carol (Bert) Macy; sister-in-law, Anna (Jay) Palm; brother-in-law Frank Gonzales; and brother-in-law Harley Armstrong. She is also survived by over thirty nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews including Debbie (David) Salcedo, Chris (Amanda) Macy, Rebecca (Jake) Miller, and Nicole (Tyler) Gabel and her friends Bill Skaff and Marge Heald.
The rosary and viewing will be at St Bernadettes Catholic Parish 10:00am on Wednesday December 9th 2020.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:30am
