

Leonard Donald Cross was born on April 18, 1944 in Danville, Illinois to Ruby Goebel and Cecil Cross, and he passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the age of 77 surrounded by his wife, Jennie, his granddaughter, Sydney and his daughters, Natalie, Lisa and Kristin. Len was struggling to recover from pneumonia, but he lost the fight. He will always be remembered as the most devoted husband, best dad, loving uncle and absolutely beloved grandpa. Len was so supportive of his family and friends and will always be remembered for his gregariousness, sweet and loving personality. The void he has left in our family will never quite be filled, but we, his family and friends, have a life time of memories and undying love from him.
Len is preceded in death by Ruby & Howard Taylor, Cecil Cross, Jack Cross, Cameron Cross, Lupe & Lillian Davila and his beloved dog, Domino. He is survived by his wife, Jennie Cross, his children, Natalie A. Martinez, Lisa Brooks (Jody Brooks), Aaron Cross (Julie Cross) & Kristin Kasee (Brice Kasee), his grandchildren, Sydney Martinez Hinman (Tristen Baraga), Amanda Phillips, Layne Cross, Paige Cross, Elisa Kasee, Addison Kasee & Micale Kasee, his siblings, Patsy Lautenslager, Darlene Levine, Diana White, Judy Taylor & Janice Taylor and by his sister-in-laws and brother-in-law, such as, Bea Garcia, Cecilia Davila, Rudy Davila (Virginia Martinez), Elizabeth Cross, Sandra Messich and so many nieces and nephews that adored their Uncle Len.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 12:30-1:30pm followed by his funeral service at 1:30pm at the Olinger Crown Hill Campus in Wheat Ridge, Colorado – 7777 West 29th Avenue. Dyana Quinlivan will be officiating the service at the request of the family.
