It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Lois Boroos (Lunde). Lois passed away in her sleep at home on August 6th, 2020. Throughout her 89 years of life, her true passion was family. Growing up in the small town of Badger, MN, she was surrounded by loving grandparents, her mother (Alma Anderson) and many cousins that were as close to her as siblings. She moved to Denver in 1961 with her husband of nearly 60 years, Martin Boroos. Together they surrounded their daughters, grandson, Lois’ mother, and Lois’ siblings, with the same love she experienced in Badger. Most important to her was her faith. Long ago she became a Christian and lived a life driven by a desire to do God’s will and teach us of His love. With faith, we know our separation is only temporary. We were so blessed to have had her in our lives.
Lois was preceded in death by her mother Alma Anderson, and brother Don Anderson. She is survived by her husband Martin Boroos, daughters Kerri Boroos and Rondi Boroos (Richard Downs), grandson Jason Boroos (Callie), sister Debbie Mangion (George), nephew Jeremy (Nicole and children Sierra, Sydney, Savannah), niece Elisa, great niece Keilani Porter (Jesse), sister-in-law Terry Anderson, niece Lyndsay Smith (Drew and children Asher and Arlo), nephew Josh Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Private services and entombment at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
