from Milwaukee State Teachers College and was a Denver Public School's Kindergarten teacher for thirty years. She was an avid US and world traveler with her husband 'Mac' and on her own after his passing. After retirement she volunteered at the Molly Brown House for twenty-five years. Lois was a lifelong and very active member of Ascension Lutheran Church of Littleton including multiple Bible study groups and Koinonia as well as being a former Elder, organist
and member of the bell choir. Lois was also active in the Ladies Guild, Elderberries, the Dolls, Red Hat Society and PEO as well as being a twenty year aqua
aerobics participant at the ACC Fitness Center. She is survived by her sons: David (Nora) and Thomas (Dianne); grandchildren Matthew (Gail), Allyson, Jennifer, Kathryn (and their mother Teresa), James, Julie and Jacob and great granddaughter Layla. She was preceded in death by her parents Julius
and Ella Wagner and her husband 'Mac' Mackay. Funeral service will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation 1 hour prior and reception to follow at Ascension Lutheran Church, Littleton.
