Lively and tenacious, Margaret brightened many lives with her quick wit and sharp humor. She was fiercely independent with a drive to work hard and a will to help others.
Born in Spokane, Washington, she was raised in nearby Fairfield in a household of three sisters and a widowed mother. She and Andre Myron married in 1961, had two daughters, Cindra and Drew, and were wed for 57 years.
A realtor for nearly 40 years, she was one of the first women in the field. Throughout her career she was committed to helping young couples, struggling families, and first-time buyers fulfill their dreams of home ownership.
From traveling, to cooking, to gardening, Margaret maintained exacting standards, such as baking 1,000 perfectly round cookies for a charity event, or sewing elaborate Halloween costumes for family. She was a voracious reader, a political activist, a “first wave” feminist, and a tenderhearted grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Andre, and daughters, Cindra Kidd and Drew Myron Rieseck, and son-in-law David Rieseck; grandchildren Whitney, Corey, Rosey, D.J., and Kimberly Kidd; sisters Nancy Bliesner and Katherine Howard.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 21 at 11am at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arvada Community Food Bank.
