Margaret Elizabeth Ridgway

Margaret was born in Pueblo, CO on December 21, 1956 and graduated from Lakewood High School. She attended Fort Lewis College and completed a drafting program at Red Rocks Community College.

She initially worked for the engineering/design firm of Stearns-Roger Inc and later in retail at Golfsmith and Bonnie Brae Liquor Mart.

Margaret married Steven (Ridge) Ridgway in Santa Fe, NM on October 4, 1986. They made their home in Golden, CO. She appreciated the art, architecture, and colors of the southwest and spending time in New Mexico. Her husband, Ridge, passed away in Golden in 2001. She continued to live in Golden until 2011 when she and her partner, Drew Zurcher, moved to Florida and made their home in Cape Coral.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis D. and Betty A. Cummings and sister, Carol Ann Forster.

Margaret is survived by sister, Cathleen (Brad) Spink, and brothers, David (Ann) Cummings, John (Jaime) Cummings, George (Patty) Cummings, and eleven nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her partner, Drew Zurcher, and his three children and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Please meet in the lobby of the Olinger building just west of the main entrance to the cemetery. Parking is available to the west of the building. After the gravesite service, there will be a gathering in the Crown Hill Reception Center & Community Room.
