Marion E. Gibson Davis, 91, passed away on March 22, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 9, 1920 in Morrison, CO where her family owned the Gibson Dairy. She was a long time resident of Wheat Ridge where she attended Wheat Ridge High School. After graduating from Colorado Women’s College, Marion worked for Mountain Bell. Marion married the love of her life, Velmer Davis on July 6, 1945. At the time of her passing, they had been married 66 years. Marion had a very generous heart, was an excellent cook and loved recipes. She had a great talent and affinity for flower gardens but above all, Marion was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband Velmer, son Mark (Kim), brother James Gibson, Jr. and sister Mabel Schipper. Her daughter, Diana Lynn Davis preceded her in death. Services for Marion will be at 12:00 pm on Mon. at Crown Hill Mortuary with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
