Marjorie Grace Jacobsen (Bailey) passed away peacefully on May 23, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born in Wallulah, Kansas on August 1, 1937, to Lida and Clyde Bailey. She graduated from Lansing High School in 1954 as the Class Valedictorian. A couple of years later, she moved to the Denver, CO area, where she spent the rest of her life.
She worked as a department manager in the actuarial department of an insurance company. She was very active in the Eastern Star for over 66 years as well as The White Shrine and the order of the Amaranth as well as the Daughters of the Nile.
On July 25, 1992, she was married to Ken Jacobsen until her death, 33 years later. In addition, to her husband, she is survived by her siblings; Nancy and Larry (Rita) and her son, Tom Talmadge and step-son Brian Jacobsen. She is now joining her Mom, Dad and Siblings; Donna and Sadie and her children; Walter and Penny Talmadge with her Lord in Heaven.
Marge was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
