Mom was a hard working, ambitious woman and raised her sons to have the same work ethic. She was not a professional woman but enjoyed making her home beautiful. She was renowned among her neighbors and friends as a gardener and was often sought out for advice on growing flowers. Her show piece was often a rose garden where each bush was healthy and thriving.

Her family looked forward to going to her house for a special meal. She would bring out the white table cloth and special china, and she spared no expense in providing a meal to be remembered. Family was important to her: 2 sons, 5 grandkids and 10 great grandkids.

Mom wasn't a social person who needed many friends, but the friends she made were dear to her heart and she would work hard to stay in touch with them.

Final thoughts on mom; she was a good woman who influenced the lives of the many people around her. She held a belief in her God and lived true to her beliefs.
