Michael was described as a "really great dude" and a "stellar human being". His love of art, music, and nature was profound. He was a fantastic snowboarder. He loved going to music shows and festivals and traveled all over the country just to attend. He had many friends who loved him.
Survivors include his brother, Corey, his mother, Karen, his step-father, Bob, his sister-in-law, Sarah, and his amazing nephew, Logan. Other survivors include one aunt, two uncles, and several cousins. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ken, his beloved Gram and Pah, his Aunt Judy, and Grandma Anne.
Mike was a support group leader of the Denver National Ataxia Foundation. He affected many lives in his short time with us, and he will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life is being planned and details will be sent. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's name to the NAF. (Ataxia.org/donate)
