Grandma was one of the most loving, generous, and gracious people I have ever known. I always was very excited to visit her and Grandpa’s home. She treated me with a kindness and patience that made me feel completely loved and utterly accepted. From all the delicious goodies she whipped just for our visit to the treasure trove of Avon goodies she always gave free and so much beyond that Grandma showed her beautiful nature to us. And even though I am grieved she has gone, I am also blessed to have had such an amazing example to watch and learn from while growing  up. May your generosity and loving nature live on is those of us who knew and loved you. 

I met Myrna when my oldest daughter Janet married her son Gene. She was a very energetic woman. She bowled and I hear was pretty good at it. She and Mel had a garden and an apple tree. She would always bring canned goods and pies to family gatherings. She sold Avon for many many years. And she always had interesting stories about her life on the farm as a child. My best memories are sipping wine at Easter while we watched the “youngsters” preparing dinner. 
My sincere condolences go out Mel and her children and all of her extended family.  She will be sorely missed by all.

Myrna taught me so many things...She taught me how to can, making pickles and jams. She taught me how to make breads, especially our family's traditional Christmas bread, Cauken. She taught me how to make homemade ice cream and real whipped cream!! She taught me to crochet. She taught me how to hang wallpaper...that was an adventure!! The first time I had ever seen a peony, it was on her dining room table. I thought they were the prettiest flowers I had ever see! She helped me plant some! We bowled on a woman's bowling league together. Katie was little, and scared to go into the playroom for kids while we bowled. Myrna went and spoke with someone, and from then on Katie was allowed to sit and color at the counter  behind our lane, and that was that! She helped me  start selling Avon in the eighties...I only lasted a couple years...Myrna lasted decades...it was hard work! She was always up for a good board game...we played a few of those on our family reunions!! Such fond memories that I will treasure always....I know you are dancing in heaven and I'll see there some day! Much love...rest quietly now 💗

My great grandma was a big part in my family’s lives . I can’t remeber much but what I do remember is that she was very loving and a amazing grandma to grow up with. I remember every time I would go over to her house I would always hassle her to go into her Avon room to get some kind of makeup. We would walk around and look at everything until we would always end up at the chapstick drawer. I will always remember Christmas at grandmas with calkin and good memories. I will miss you grandma. Rest easy. 

My Grandma always had a smile and a delicious meal to share. My fondest memories include riding in her T-Bird and playing with all the switches and drinking coffee from Garfield mugs as a child. I love my grandma. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I will miss her dearly. Always in my heart. 

She was the best mother- in - law to me & my only one. She was a good woman. 
Glad she can rest peacefully now.
