Corky was born in Kansas, City, Missouri and raised in Colorado. Served his country in the U. S. Navy. Married Joanne Cusick in 1950 in Edgewater, Colorado who preceded him in death in 2011. He was a barber for over 20 years in metro Denver. Member of Teamsters Local Union #13 for 27 years. Active member of Mosaic Lodge #184 A.F & A. M. in Eastlake, Colorado. He loved to hunt and fish and being outdoors. He enjoyed working on his old Jeep and wine making hobby.
Survived by his children, Sharon Brown, Jim (Cathy) Matteson, Garth (Judy) Matteson, Keith (Pam) Matteson; grandchildren, Zac Matteson, Josh (Melissa) Matteson, Sarah (Heath) Tilton. Katie Matteson, Stacy Matteson, Tyler (Kirsten) Matteson, Amber (Seth) Hutcheson. Austin (Tina) Matteson, Megan (Eric) Feola, Gabe (Lori) Moore, Jeremy (Tiffany) Moore; great grandchildren, Paul & Claire Matteson, Quinn Smalser, Skyler & Brock Hutcheson, Brooke, Taylor, Keirra Matteson, Dalton & Morgan Moore, Caleb, Kennedy & Jacob Moore. Also survived by his sisters, Doris Beavers & Calene Johnson.
