Patricia Lynn McCormick

Patricia Lynn McCormick (nee Eidenmiller) passed away February 16, 2023. Born to Karl and Cecelia Eidenmiller (nee Petitti) on March 17, 1956, Pat spent her childhood in Northeast Ohio. She was a natural athlete who also demonstrated artistic talent. Following high school, Patricia moved to Colorado to embrace the adventures the mountain area offered. She would often be found on hiking trails, cycling paths, ski slopes, golf courses and tennis courts, enjoying life and laughter with friends. Pat loved animals and was a fount of knowledge about the natural world.

Having earned her Associates Degree in Electronics, Patricia gained skills in medical equipment repair, working her way up to become the Director of Facilities and Biomedical Equipment Engineering at SCL Lutheran Medical Center. For the past 13 years, Pat was employed by HSS as an operations manager and technician where coworkers and clients appreciated her reliability and dedication.

Patricia is survived by her siblings, Douglas (Linda) Eidenmiller and Karen Hunter; her nieces and nephews, Deborah (Tom) Chester, Daniel (Teena) Eidenmiller, David (Beth) Eidenmiller, Westley Hunter, Hayley Hunter; and eight great-nieces/nephews. She will also be missed by her Colorado “family,” including her dearest friend, Shelley Rossell.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 6, 2023 from 12-2 pm at Bear Creek Lake Park, 15600 W. Morrison Rd. Lakewood, CO. Attendees should mention the service to gate personnel for admittance. Contributions may be made in Pat’s honor to Foothills Animal Shelter whose work she found important and dear.
