

Paul Raymond Beagle, age 81 died January 31, 2018. He was born February 6th 1936 in San Diego, California the son of Eloise Maelzer, Beagle and Dale Frederick Beagle. He grew up in both Binkleman, Nebraska on the farm “carrying this love throughout his life” and Grand Lake Colorado, where at the age of 10 he lost three fingers while handling dynamite caps.
Paul graduated from Arvada High School in 1955, playing both Football and Basketball. He married Joann Jackson “Beagle” in 1958. They had three children Cheryl Beagle “Rogers”, Debbie Beagle and Tim Beagle. He worked in all phases of construction from houses to store fronts, prior to retiring in 1998. The family has been the recipient of this skill over the years.
After losing his wife of 30 years, Paul was blessed to marry two more times Charlene Brown “Beagle” and Jan Beaver “Beagle.” His life was not without grief, losing two wives and a Daughter to cancer. Paul enjoyed camping and hunting in his younger days. Later in life he started bike riding and participated in senior Olympics. He loved to travel; some of his favorites were Alaska and Canada. Paul always had a love of sports including baseball and car racing. He also loved to BBQ and spend time with his family where everyone got to benefit from his homemade ice cream.
During the last 8 years he joined the ministry “Toy’s for God’s Kids”. He loved being in his shop working on those cars as well as making furniture for family and toys for grandchildren.
Paul was a kind, compassionate, strong man. Who taught by example, lived a life of honor and loved unconditionally. Paul also saw the humor in things and loved a good laugh. His faith was strong throughout his whole life. Paul left advice for his children and grandchildren in a recent journal. “Stay in school, study hard and do your very best at all you do to be honest and work hard.”
Paul is survived by two sisters Kathleen Claughton and Dorothy Beers, two children four grandchildren three great grandchildren as well a number of step children, grandchildren and friends who all loved him.
Visitation Wednesday, February 7th from 5-8PM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary in Wheat Ridge. Funeral service Thursday, February 8th at 11AM at Arvada Covenant Church, 5555 Ward Road in Arvada. Interment at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery followed by a light reception.
