

He left school in 8th grade to begin a three-year apprenticeship in that very pastry shop. He then worked at various pastry shops around Paris, including a brief stint working for Gaston LeNotre.
Paul left France on January 13, 1961 to join up with his brother Michel in the Washington DC area. He worked for his brother for a few years until they went into business together at the Domino Restaurant in Beltsville, MD. Paul owned and managed the Domino until June of 1987 when he sold it.
Paul married Yvette LeDuff on July 17, 1965 and his daughter Valerie was born on July 4th of the following year. Eventually ,Valerie made her way and a life in Colorado. In 2000, Paul and Yvette moved to Colorado to be closer to his daughter’s family.
Paul was an extremely hard working individual who always put family first. He loved entertaining family and friends. Had an adventurous, happy spirit. Loved gardening, baking, gourmet cooking, photography and skiing. He loved to travel and after having explored the East coast from top to bottom, he enjoyed having a new part of the country to explore.
Paul passed away on July 7, 2019 in Lakewood, CO after a debilitating lung disease (interstitial lung disease). He was not in pain but breathless and could no longer do anything that he enjoyed. Paul is survived by his loving daughter, Valerie Rousset LeBeau, son-in-law, Jason LeBeau, grandchildren, Dallas and Dusty and his two brothers Pierre and Michel. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Yvette Rousset and his sister, Marie-Therese Pain.
