Randall M. Jahn, 70, left this Earth peacefully on the night of October 26, 2023. He was born on January 4, 1953, in Topeka, Kansas. Only there until about the age of 8, his family moved to Applewood, Colorado where he spent most of his upbringing and where he found his love for getting into trouble. He loved going against the grain of traditional standards.
Randall had an adventurous spirit that never ceased until he passed away (and who knows even then). He was highly intelligent, creative, and disciplined in accomplishing career goals. He ended up becoming a Master Electrician for Rocky Flats and worked there until it closed.
He had a love for building things, which began as a child when he built his own motorized “Mini bike.” He enjoyed working with his hands, fixing things, growing his favorite vegetables in his garden, pickling and making salsa. He loved fast cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and the Denver Broncos.
To those who knew him best, he was ornery, sarcastic, funny, rebellious, and hard-headed. He was himself to the fullest and never paid attention to how others thought that he ought to be. That is what made him true and unique.
Randall is survived by his three children, Kendrick, Kelli, and Michael, his grandchildren, Emma, Logan, and Kaleb McLaughlin. Also survived by his sisters, Connie Kelso, Vicki Smith, and Cindy Jahn. His two nephews and a niece, Jason, Travis, and Gina. A special thanks to Sherri Mitchell, who was by his side, through thick and thin, until the bittersweet end. He loved you very much.
*Memorial Services time and location to be determined. We will be reaching out and updating people who knew Randall.
