Richard “Dick” Beatty, age 94, passed away October 19, 2017. He was born March 22, 1923 in Denver. Richard was a member of the local sheet metal union, a longtime member of All Saints Catholic Church and a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army Air Corps. Richard and his late wife Josephine were married February 10, 1944 in Denver. He is survived by his children: Sandra Gelvin, Gail Nalli and Richard Beatty; grandchildren: Carla Stone, Adele Harty, Catherine Duncombe, Darell Nalli, Kory Vierya, ; great grandchildren: Callie Stone, Chloe Stone, Molly Harty, Owen Harty, Ranger Duncombe, Landry Duncombe, Olivia Vierya, Oliver Vierya, and his siblings Eva Hinkle and Joe Beatty. Richard was preceded in death by his wife Josephine and brothers Chuck and Bus. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 5-7:00pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00am at All Saints Catholic Church, Denver. Interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 2:30pm, staging area B. Arrangements under the direction of Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Cemetery & Arboretum, Wheat Ridge, CO.
