Richard Anthony Glasmann

Rich was born in Denver, CO on his mother’s birthday December 12th, 1937. He was the third child, with three brothers and two sisters. After graduating from East High School, he joined the United States Navy. He was stationed in San Diego, CA on the USS Shangri-La. Upon discharge, he returned to CO with his young family where he had three more children. Rich had a long career in the meat packing industry. Despite his busy life and career, Rich always found time for his beloved Broncos. He worked as an usher beginning in 1961 so he could attend the Bronco games. He was finally able to acquire season tickets in 1965. Rich met and married Joann Walsh in 1968 and they were married for 50 years. They moved to Wheat Ridge, CO where they raised their family and resided until their deaths.

Rich and Joann were proud parents of Tammy (Greg) Lewis, Terry Rouch, Rick (Kellie) Glasmann and Misty Sutliff. They had 15 grandchildren plus spouses and 27 great-grandchildren.

Rich is preceded in death by his wife Joann, parents Louis and Georgia Glasmann, brother Walt Morris, brother Ted Glasmann, brother Ron Glasmann, sister Marilyn Glaviano, sister Darlene Roesch and son-in-law David Rouch. Rich is survived by his children, sister-in-laws Murry and Kathy Glasmann and brother-in-law Rocky Glaviano. He was “Uncle Rich” to 18 special nieces and nephews.
