Rick, as he was known to his family and friends, was born on April 11, 1952 in Lakehurst, New Jersey to Amerigo and Pansy Spurio. He met Debra Sue Springer in Cleveland, Ohio while out dancing in 1974 and fell in love. Rick married his dancing queen August 28, 1976 in Bedford, Ohio and together they had two children, Christi and Daniel. His passion was shooting pool and he belonged to a league that played at "The Felt" pool hall. Rick and Debbie loved to travel and take rides together in the mountains on Rick's motorcycle, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family and grandkids.
Rick is survived by his loving wife Debbie, his two children Christi Smith (Jeremy), Daniel Spurio (Courtney), grandchildren Brooklyn and Maverick Smith, Natalie and Mason Spurio, his mother Pansy Spurio, and five brothers Marty Spurio, Gary Spurio, Dale Spurio, Jeff Spurio, and Chris Spurio.
He was preceded in death by his father Amerigo.
